Lake County Farmers Market Feasibility StudyMSU Extension coordinated a community survey process to determine if a community farmers market would be successful in Lake County. Below is a presentation that was given to the Lake County Community Food Council on August 8, 2016.
A detailed final report will be published by MSU Extension in December 2016.

Muskegon Food HubMuskegon is working toward building a food hub to process and distribute food grown across west Michigan. Food hubs help local growers access new markets for their products. They also can help farmers achieve food safety standards required by many large buyers.
Foods grown in Lake County could be processed and distributed through a food hub in Muskegon.
